Something Beautiful

Mixed Media Stitched Books in progress

Beautiful Mixed media stitched books
I am currently putting together ten of these books which will be completed with vintage fabric and small watercolour paintings.  They'll be in my Etsy shop by the end of next week.

Well it's definitely been a week of ups and downs here, emotional and weather wise!  Our trip to bath was a huge success, with just one little hiccup to do with car trouble, apart from that the weather was glorious.  We spent a day at Lacock Village and stood outside Harry Potters Mum and dads house! and walked in the footsteps of the Bennet girls, it was very lovely.

No more major trips planned for a while, i'm still needed in the shop whilst Gav finishes producing the Uriah Heep DVD but hopefully that will be done by Tuesday and then it's work work work for me, mostly exhibition but some cleaning as we have visitors in June.

Gav and I enjoying Champagne in the sunshine in Bath and photos of the Cathedral, River and Royal Crescent.

“I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever...
...I must go, uncertain of my fate; but I shall return hither, or follow your party, as soon as possible. A word, a look, will be enough to decide whether I enter your father's house this evening or never.”

Such beautiful little books. There is something about the combination of white card, book paper and brown paper that I love. Beautiful pictures of Bath.

I agree with Fuzzie Fingers about working with that combination of papers and you do it so well Tina.
Looks like you had a great time. Bath architecture is wonderful.
Lynn :)
